We believe that supporting the career development of our colleagues is fundamental to who we are as a firm.
Creating opportunities for our colleagues to grow, develop and progress is key to delivering the level of service our clients expect, and creates the working environment we are proud to provide. Our structured Career Pathway is designed to give our colleagues clarity, direction and the support they need to build a career with us that reflects their ambitions.
As part of our Career Pathway, we are pleased to announce a number of well-deserved promotions across the firm, effective from 1st April.
We are delighted to welcome Louise Taylor and Rebecca East into the Partnership as Salaried Partners. Both are integral members of our Residential Property team and have played a significant role in shaping the success and direction of their teams in their respective offices.
Debbie Sansome will be promoted to Director and Head of HR. Since establishing our HR function in 2023, Debbie has made a significant impact across the firm, supporting colleagues and leading key initiatives, including her work during our merger with Kirklands Solicitors.
We are also pleased to confirm the promotion of Karen Matthews from our Residential Property department and Sam Flowers in our Commercial Property department to Senior Associate, as well as Jo Leonard in our Wills, Probate, and Estate Planning department to Associate, reflecting the continued strength and depth of expertise across our legal teams. Chris Wilson and Sharon Boulton from our Accounts department will move into the role of Business Associate, recognising the important contribution they make to the wider business and the support they provide to both colleagues and clients.
Within our Executive career pathway, Kirsty Gazzard from our Wills, Probate, and Estate Planning department will be promoted to Senior Executive, Linda White to Senior Property Executive, and Emma Cook from our Wills, Probate, and Estate Planning department to Chartered Legal Executive. Angela Black in our Accounts department will move to Executive, and Nicola Watts in our Front of House team to Junior Executive. These roles play a vital part in how we deliver a seamless and high-quality service to our clients.
Francesca Diment and Lucy Wrixon, both from our Wills, Probate, and Estate Planning department, and Nicola Macfadyen from our Residential Property department will step into the role of Paralegal, while Caroline Edward from our Family department will become Senior Legal Assistant, demonstrating our continued focus on developing talent and supporting colleagues at every stage of their career.
Each of these promotions reflects the contribution, commitment and professionalism we see across the firm every day. They represent the journey each colleague has taken, the trust they have built with clients, and the role they play within their teams.
Gareth Horner, Managing Partner, commented about the promotions, “It is always a pleasure to recognise the progress our colleagues are making across the firm. These promotions reflect their individual achievements, as well as the collaborative and supportive culture we have built together. We are committed to helping our people develop their careers in a way that works for them, while continuing to deliver the high standards our clients expect.”
We know that building a career in law, or within a professional services environment, can be both challenging and rewarding. That is why we focus on creating an environment where you feel supported, valued and able to develop with confidence.
