Kirsty joined our Wills, Probate & Estate Planning department in 2018 after successfully completing her A-levels, including law, in June 2018. She is currently a Wills and Probate Executive, and Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, due to be admitted to the role of Chartered Legal Executive in 2026.
She has gained valuable experience by working alongside Partners in drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters, obtaining Grants of Probate and carrying out estate administration. Kirsty places vital importance on taking the time to get to know her clients and their needs to ensure they receive a service that is personalised to them and their requirements. Seeing clients from all different walks of life and those at different stages of their life, Kirsty tailors her approach with a friendly and empathetic nature, getting satisfaction from knowing that she has helped her clients during challenging and difficult times in their lives.
I had a Will done and then had a codicil at a later date, Kirsty was brilliant and explained it all to me. I was clear what I wanted and have no plans to change it now.
Kirsty Gazzard and all the others we met provided a fast, friendly and professional service that I would highly recommend. They went above and beyond to accommodate my 18 year old daughter with additional needs and made a potentially stressful situation easy for her to cope with. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, understanding and patience and will be back in the future should the need arise.
Kirsty Gazzard provided us with excellent advice and clear direction on how to complete the LPA application paperwork. She also guided us through revising our wills with patience and clarity. Overall we are very satisfied with the outcome.
During her time with the team, she has built close working relationships with our charity partners, in particular Salisbury Hospice and Wiltshire Air Ambulance, to develop and run Wills schemes to benefit the charities. One highlight in her career has been to be part of the team that won the British Wills and Probate Awards 2020 award for best use of marketing and social media. This was for a campaign run during the Covid-19 pandemic with our NHS/Essential Workers Will Scheme which was set up by the department to support NHS workers.
Outside of work, Kirsty is an active volunteer and received the 20 year NHS Long Service Award for volunteering every Christmas period. She also thoroughly enjoys her time on holiday, going out with friends for food, reading as well as staying active through walks, pilates and the gym.
