Emma Cook

Chartered Legal Executive FCILEX

Emma qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in January 2012 and became part of our Andover based Wills, Probate, and Estate Planning team in January 2022.

An Affiliate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), she is currently working towards the STEP Diploma; a globally recognised qualification for professionals specialising in this area of law.

She supports clients with Probate and Estate Administration, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection matters, with her focus on being friendly and approachable. As she often sees people at their most vulnerable, Emma considers it a privilege to act for them and relieve some of the pressure they are facing.

A big thank you to yourself and everyone at Parker Bullen. The ultimate professionals, but always friendly and approachable. There has never been a moment of worry with everything in your capable and reassuring hands.

Can I just say how extremely grateful I am for both yours and Gareth’s time today. You both went out of your way to help and made everything so much easier.

I’m very impressed with the way and speed with which you dealt with this, especially given the sloppy business practices of various retail institutions I am trying to deal with!

You have done a sterling job on this in the past so immediately thought of you!

There are many reasons why Emma enjoys working life here.  Professionally, she is proud to be part of a continually evolving firm which has such an outstanding reputation.  Personally, she considers herself lucky to work in such a warm and inclusive environment; there’s no hierarchy and the Partners are friendly and approachable and, even as the firm continues to grow, it doesn’t feel “corporate” or impersonal. Emma extends her friendly and approachable nature to her colleagues as well as her clients.  She is a firm believer in the power of a cup of tea and a chat if a colleague is having a bad day or struggling with something.

Away from the office, Emma enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews, getting lost in a good book, and dancing. A regular at weekly dance classes, she’s mastered styles from salsa to waltz – and even a little cha cha.
