We’re proud to announce that Parker Bullen LLP has been named a finalist for Information Security Team of the Year at the 2026 Legal Technology Awards, celebrating the important work taking place behind the scenes to protect our firm, our people and, most importantly, the information entrusted to us by our clients.
What are the Legal Technology Awards?
The annual Legal Technology Awards recognise excellence in legal technology and IT security across the UK and international legal sectors. The awards celebrate the individuals, teams and organisations using technology, innovation and strong leadership to help shape the future of legal services.
This year’s awards feature 14 categories covering areas including technology, information security, artificial intelligence, innovation and leadership. So, being named a finalist places Parker Bullen alongside organisations recognised for their contribution to the evolving relationship between technology and the legal sector.
What does Information Security Team of the Year recognise?
The Information Security Team of the Year category specifically recognises dynamic leadership and contribution within information security. The category celebrates senior IT security teams that proactively implement advanced IT security systems, information management and procedures to protect client data and internal operations from third-party intrusions.
It also recognises teams that have successfully put in place advanced system and network protection initiatives, while developing strategies to reduce the risks posed by sophisticated cyberattacks and data breaches.
For Parker Bullen, becoming a finalist is a reflection of the importance placed on information security across the firm.
Why information security matters to our clients
When you instruct a solicitor, you are often sharing some of your most personal and confidential information. As the legal sector becomes increasingly digital, protecting that information has never been more important and clients need to have confidence that this information is being handled carefully and securely.
Law firms now rely on technology for almost every aspect of their work, from communicating with clients and managing cases to storing documents and collaborating with colleagues. While these systems bring huge benefits, they also create new challenges and risks.
That means information security cannot simply be an IT issue. It needs to be part of the culture and day-to-day operation of the whole firm. For a firm like Parker Bullen, information security is therefore an important part of maintaining the trust that sits at the heart of the solicitor-client relationship.
Recognition for work behind the scenes
Much of this work may not be visible to clients, but that does not make it any less important. From the systems we use to the processes we have in place and the awareness of our people, every element plays a role in protecting confidential information.
Being named a finalist at the 2026 Legal Technology Awards is recognition of the commitment of Parker Bullen’s information security team and colleagues across the firm.
The winners of the 2026 Legal Technology Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 18 November 2026.
