Parker Bullen Solicitors were proud to receive a gold award from Cancer Research UK after facilitating over £1million from clients pledging a gift in their will for the charity, using the popular Cancer Research UK Will Service.

Parker Bullen has been offering the Will Service to Cancer Research UK supporters for many years. The Will Service allows simple wills to be made or updated which are funded by Cancer Research UK, or used as a discount when more than a simple will is required. The scheme runs all year round for people aged 55 and over, giving them an opportunity to join the fight against cancer by including a gift for Cancer Research UK.

“Gifts in Wills fund over a third of Cancer Research UK’s life-saving research” explains Clare Moore, Director of Legacies at the charity. “We’re so grateful to Parker Bullen Solicitors for supporting Cancer Research UK in our will writing partnership. The generosity of people using the service every year makes a huge impact to our research. Cancer Research UK has played a role in developing 8 out 10 of the world’s top cancer drugs, with gifts in wills making a significant contribution to what we can achieve.”
