Richard is currently a Consultant having worked with us since 1979. He deals with a wide range of employment issues, advising and acting for employers and employees. Richard has considerable experience in contentious and non-contentious matters, advising on employment contracts, restrictive covenants, compromise agreements, TUPE issues, as well as providing representation at employment tribunals and the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
Richard specialises in handling difficult employment conflicts which frequently arise between employers and senior directors, and he seeks wherever possible to resolve such disputes by negotiation, avoiding the need for litigation where this can be achieved.
Prior to joining Parker Bullen, Richard trained with Withy King, qualifying in 1977, before joining our firm in 1979, which was formally known as Jonas and Parker, becoming a Partner in 1980.
