Jason Evans is a partner and joined Parker Bullen in March 2021 to head up the new Romsey office.
He deals with all aspects of family law, specialising in divorce cases involving business interests and complex issues.
Jason came into practice in 1993 having worked previously in the Court service. Jason has an established reputation as a Family Law specialist. He has particular expertise and interest in divorce cases involving business issues, pensions, trusts and other complex issues. Jason, however, is also happy to assist in cases involving more modest assets.
Jason also has expertise in cases involving separating cohabitees, and a niche practice of assisting in cases where a Will or Probate is to be disputed because somebody has been excluded from a Will or insufficient provision has been made for them.
Jason also has wide experience in dealing with cases involving children, including residence, contact, issues about schooling and relocation in this country or overseas.
Jason is a trained Mediator and a Collaborative Lawyer. He believes that separating spouses should be given every opportunity to resolve matters amicably and in a non-confrontational way where possible.
Jason is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, an FMA/ADR trained Mediator and is a founder member of HFLS Solent Collaborative Group.
