Chris joined our Wills, Probate & Estate Planning department in 2022 at the end of his LLB degree as a Paralegal. He has gained valuable experience by working alongside his colleagues in drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Obtaining Grants of Probate and Estate Administration.
Chris completed the LLB Law Degree with the University of Chichester in 2022, graduating with a 2:1 and in January 2023 began his Solicitor Apprenticeship.
During his studies, Chris worked virtually with Irwin Mitchell and additionally took part in different advocacy opportunities including acting for the appellant in a Criminal Appeal case receiving recognition as one of few “top advocates” and the preparation for a Landmark Chambers Public Law Mooting Competition in November 2021. He also volunteers with Southern Health NHS as a Mental Health Act Review Manager reviewing the legality of the detention of patients under the Mental Health Act 1983 which proves useful when considering capacity of clients for Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
In May 2023, Chris completed Dementia Friends training. With an enhanced understanding of dementia and its impact, Chris is committed to providing compassionate and tailored support to his clients that respects their unique needs and fosters a supportive environment.
