From "I Do" to "I Don't": How a failed engagement can lead to Family Court disputes
Terri joined our Family & Relationships department based in Witney in May 2023, bringing with her over 20 years legal experience working in various roles from Secretary to Senior Associate.
Her expertise includes supporting her clients with divorce, from resolving the finances either by agreement or contested proceedings, Separation Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements and Pre/post nuptial agreements. She can also support families with children matters such as Specific Issue Orders, which would include changing a child's name or taking them on holiday, Prohibited Steps Orders, which would prevent a parent from removing a child from the UK or changing their school, for example, and longer term arrangements for parents to spend time with their children.
Terri recognises that her clients are looking for the best outcome possible during an incredibly emotional time, and so will tailor her advice in line with her client’s situation and desired result in mind. She recognises that her clients often come to her at one of the most traumatic times of their lives and she is keen to guide them through and help them make decisions that are right for them. Terri is passionate about allowing her clients to feel in control of how their matter is progressing and so keeps them well informed throughout.
