Terri Anson-Dean

Senior Associate

Terri joined our Family & Relationships department based in Witney in May 2023, bringing with her over 20 years legal experience working in various roles from Secretary to Senior Associate.

Her expertise includes supporting her clients with divorce, from resolving the finances either by agreement or contested proceedings, Separation Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements and Pre/post nuptial agreements. She can also support families with children matters such as Specific Issue Orders, which would include changing a child's name or taking them on holiday, Prohibited Steps Orders, which would prevent a parent from removing a child from the UK or changing their school, for example, and longer term arrangements for parents to spend time with their children.

Terri recognises that her clients are looking for the best outcome possible during an incredibly emotional time, and so will tailor her advice in line with her client’s situation and desired result in mind.  She recognises that her clients often come to her at one of the most traumatic times of their lives and she is keen to guide them through and help them make decisions that are right for them. Terri is passionate about allowing her clients to feel in control of how their matter is progressing and so keeps them well informed throughout.

Terri was very professional and thoughtful. This order I now have in place is already making my life a lot happier with my son. I am so happy Terri was involved with my case and I couldn’t thank her more. There was a lot of times I wasn’t sure what to do and I would either email or ring Terri and we would go through every angle and find a solution every time. I would highly recommend Terri for any case moving forward. She made everything so much easier and I will never forget her efforts to help me have a better future and relationship with my son.

I found Terri randomly when I needed to engage a divorce advisor, and I was incredibly lucky to find such a consummate professional to lead me through what has been a long drawn out, and challenging situation.

Terri is an incredibly personable and professional chartered legal executive who puts you at your ease and then manages the process of divorce expertly. I honestly do not know how I would have got through the last 2 years without her! Highly recommended.

After working in the legal industry for many years, in 2017 Terri became a Graduate Chartered Legal Executive through CILEx, before completing further work-based learning to become a Fellow Chartered Legal Executive.

Our work ethic and approach to flexibility first attracted Terri to taking the position with us.  The agile working means she can serve her clients best by fitting in with times convenient to them, while benefitting her own work/life balance and family commitments.
