Why you need a Solicitor for your Will: Lessons from recent Crew & Anor v Oakley & Ors case
Recent legal developments have underscored the critical role that experienced lawyers play in the...
Chantelle joined us as a Trainee Solicitor in 2021 and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2023. During her two years as a Trainee Solicitor with us, Chantelle gained experience in the Wills, Probate & Estate Planning department and Family Law. She also spent many months within the Property department which is where she qualified, now working as a Solicitor in the Commercial and Residential Property department in Salisbury.
Her focus is on helping all clients solve any queries they have by offering a friendly but professional approach and establishing a good relationship. For Chantelle, there is no better feeling than on completion day and being able to phone clients and let them know they have completed on their property. In addition, her years working within property have given her an appetite for the investigative side of property law! She chose to qualify into both the residential and commercial property department as she thoroughly enjoys the variety of transactions and clients she gets to meet. Having completed on several transactions now, it is very rewarding for her to be able to have existing clients come back on a new transaction as they were impressed with the work previously carried out.
As always Tim and Chantelle were very approachable which goes a long way when dealing with potentially stressful situations such as a property sale. Although Tim was on holiday at the latter stages Chantelle continued to act in a manner that the process was seamless.
I felt she was professional & efficient throughout a very protracted conveyance. She also kept me informed of progress or lack of without prompt.
Prior to joining us, Chantelle completed her undergraduate LLB degree with The University of Law in 2020 and went on further to complete the LPC LLM where she graduated with Distinction. She did this alongside her job as an accounts administrator at a mortgage firm, where she was employed for a period of six years, leaving to come to Parker Bullen.
Apart from the fact that the firm is a very dog-friendly one, Chantelle embraces the welcoming environment that comes from her colleagues at Parker Bullen and their willingness to help. The client care provided by every member of staff is something Chantelle is very proud to be a part of and enjoys learning from her colleagues.
Outside of work, within her hometown of Farnborough she volunteered at Citizens Advice for just under two years and at a local family law firm for eight months. She loves playing basketball and has done for seven years, in addition to regularly going to the gym and completing a 5k run every Saturday.
