Modern relationships take on all forms and unplanned children may be born to couples who are not...
Amanda joined our Wills, Probate & Estate Planning department based in our Witney office in April 2024 as a Will Writer and Tax Consultant. After regularly working with our Wills, Probate and Estate Planning department collaborating on several projects prior to joining us as a Consultant, having Amanda as part of the team has enabled us to develop that connection more and offer enhanced services to our clients based in Witney and the surrounding areas.
Her expertise lies in Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, Trust Taxation, and Tax Planning for individuals and all types of businesses. When working with clients, Amanda takes great care to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. She enjoys providing the wide aspect of service to a client, from the benefit of tax planning to the reassurance of Will writing and the Lasting Power of Attorney documents.
Prior to joining the firm, Amanda spent her early years working at HMRC and Grant Thornton before becoming a freelance Tax Consultant, in which Will writing came as a natural extension. Since 2004, she has been a tax lecturer and performed lectures on tax compliance and tax planning to qualified accountants and tax advisers across the CPD circuit for their Continuous Professional Development. This work enabled her to travel around the UK many times and occasionally further afield to Jersey and the Isle of Man.
Alongside her work, Amanda currently sits as the Chair for the Thames Valley branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation which enables her to make a valuable contribution to the tax professionals that want to provide quality and expertise.
Outside of work, Amanda’s favourite way to spend her time is skiing! When there isn’t enough snow, she also enjoys running, the gym, travelling, and socialising.
