| Probate and the Administration of Estates
After death it will be necessary to administer a person’s affairs in accordance with any Will, or if none, the rules of intestacy. Whether the estate is large or small we can gather details of the assets and liabilities, prepare the Inheritance Tax account and obtain the Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration. We can then distribute the estate and deal with any related Income or Capital Gains Tax liabilities. If there is foreign property we can advise and liaise with foreign lawyers.
